From the first moment I entered the hotel, I was fascinated by its architecture and design. I felt like I was in an old Hacienda.
The vineyards surrounding the hotel made me feel in an oasis of peace where the only noise was the sound of the wind, the perfect escapade to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
A very friendly person welcomed and escorted us to our room. Large, beautiful, overlooking the vineyards with a Jacuzzi and a sitting room. Our vacation could start!
Our beautiful room.
The view from my room was breathtaking.
I loved the details in the well-maintained garden.
After leaving our luggage, we decided to visit the pool, we ordered a nice Pisco Sour and some snacks, then we returned to our room to get ready for the afternoon tour.
The afternoon tour began with an introduction and walk through the vineyards vineyards surrounding the hotel. Then after a short drive, we arrived at El mirador The viewpoint to do a sparkling wine tasting while watching the wonderful sunset, the scenery was spectacular.
The tour continued in the hotel where we participated in a wine tasting, it was very interesting to be able to learn about the different types of grapes that grow in the region of Ica and the different wines produced by the Queirolo house.
The most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen.
The best part was tasting local dishes at the Hotel restaurant.
The hotel has a restaurant where we had dinner that night.
The variety of the dishes was very good, I decided to try local dishes from the region, my Dried Soup ”Sopa seca” was delicious.
If you are traveling with children there are also options for them.
We won a bottle of Pisco because we collected the most quantity of grapes, it was so much fun!
The second day in the morning we were enjoying the facilities and the surroundings of the hotel.
We went for a bike ride through the vineyards (the hotel lends free bicycles to its customers). We played some games, and we participated in the grapes picking because we collected the most quantity of grapes we won the first prize, a delicious pisco Queirolo, I have to admit that collecting grapes is a tough job, I really admire the ladies that do this job.
A natural Oasis.
If you want to go out to explore the surroundings of Ica. The hotel provides taxi service. You can visit La Huacachina a very picturesque oasis in the city of Ica.
I would highly recommend this hotel, it was a very nice experience in my short two days visit.
Thank you for visiting my blog.
